New York's last trolley: the Queensboro Bridge Electromobile, which run a 1.6-mile segment over the Bridge to serve Welfare Island until 1957. The cars were built in 1930 for the streetcar system in New Bedford and transferred 1949 to NYC.
The unpainted kit include all parts except the suitable Bowser Drive: Body parts, roof, trolleyboard, window guards, floor, truck frames, detailed underbody, laser cut transparent window glasses, destination sign, dummy poles, ...
There are two versions available: QUEENSBORO PHASE 2, including the last changes made In NYC: front window with rounded edges, safety fenders, no sun shield, the small skirts beside the doors removed. QUEENSBORO PHASE 1 has the original sharp edged front window and optional sun shields (separate parts). The small skirts beside the doors are already removed.
The original New Bedford version will be available soon.
Note: The Bowser drive drive is not part of this kit. The model is unpainted
