This Interurban two car train is the model of the famous Northern Texas Traction «CRIMSON LIMITED», a signature electric train that ran between Dallas and Fort Worth.
The model is full color printed and glassed, with dummy poles and radial couplers. The model is not lettered.
The motor car is designed for motorization with a Tomytec TM-21 or 22 drive (truck centers 56.6 mm). The rear and front platform have to be are screwed into the Tomytec frame, and then the carbody can be snapped over the drive. Truck frames come with the Tomytec drive. Then, no further work is required!
The model is available in two versions:
DELUXE: A full mounted rolling "vitrine" model delivered with eight MTL 36" wheel sets and trucks for the both the motor and trailer car. This model can be motorized with a Tomytec drive. Note: The Tomytec drive is not part of this kit
ECONOMY: The kit contains all parts to mount a two car train, but you need to purchase four MTL 36" wheel sets for the trailer, and the Tomytec drive for the motor car. Note: The Tomytec drive and the trailer wheels are not part of this kit
