Aurora, Elgin & Fox River Electric RR Lightweight car, build by St.Louis Car Co., with characteristic arched windows. A very small but fine looking lightweight Interurban. When the Fox River line was abandoned in 1935 the car was sold to Shaker Heights Rapid Transit in Ohio, where it operated into the early 1950s
UNPAINTED HO scale Kit for motorization with a BOWSER drive, made of 3D printed PLA filament. The kit contains: The car body, roof, a floor with pilots, steps and underfloor parts mounted, two dummy trolley poles, headlights, retrievers, a trolleyboard, laser cut window glasses and fine window guards (NEW!).
An emergency draw bar is attached underfloor. The roof is fixed with micro-screws and remains removable for painting. The floor is also fixed with micros screws, which are part of the kit.
The kit contains also 4 truck frames, modeling the characteristic pressed steel Elliptical Integral Bolster (EIB) trucks. The truck frames plug into the Bowser trucks.
The car will be sold cleaned mechanically and chemically sanded, but unpainted. Small flaws inherent to every PLA print will be greatly smoothened when primed and painted.
The car can be delivered with the headlight drilled and mounted, or the headlight separate, not mounted, the holes not drilled
