The Red Devil was a high-speed interurban streetcar built by the Cincinnati Car Company for the Cincinnati and Lake Erie Railroad (C&LE) in 1929–1930. They saw service throughout Ohio in the 1930s.
This model represents the "Phase 1" version, with swing door in front, as delivered.
UNPAINTED HO scale Kit for motorization with a BOWSER drive, made of 3D printed PLA filament. The kit contains: The car structure (red), a floor with pilot and underfloor parts mounted, a dummy trolley pole, trolleyboard, horn and an optional headlight.
The roof is fixed with M1.6 micro-screws and remains removable for painting. The floor is also fixed with M 1.6 mm screws, which are part of the kit.
The car will be sold cleaned mechanically and chemically sanded, but unpainted. Small flaws inherent to every PLA print will be greatly smoothened when painted. Photos 1 and 2 show the unpainted model.
