Indiana Railroad was famous for its fleet of lightweight high-speed interurbans, improved versions of similar cars built for the Cincinnati & Lake Erie shortly before. The IR cars could be operated in multiple units with up to three cars coupled. The fleet was split into two sub series, the Coach-Parlor cars 50-63 built by ACF and the Coach Baggage cars 64-84 built by Pullman.
